Welcome to the Southeastern Region of the National Model Railroad Association web site!  The SER provides services to the members of the NMRA resident in our Region and the 15 Divisions which operate in our Region.

The National Model Railroad Association is the largest organization devoted to the development, promotion, and enjoyment of the hobby of model railroading.  The NMRA was founded in 1935 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, making this our 69th year in service to the hobby of model railroading!

Comparison of the Scales

Above are Santa Fe War Bonnet F units in several scales.  Starting on the left, the smallest locomotive is in Z scale (1:220 proportion).  Next from the left is N scale (1:160), then HO scale (1:87), and S scale (1:64).  The next largest locomotive is O scale (1:48) and the largest is in G scale (approximately a 1:29 proportion).
