This convention will be the first SER's convention in the heart of both Tennessee's and the National Park Service's premier visitor's area. Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, the convention site is right at the north entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

A New Model Contest You Might Want To Enter

At This Years Convention . . .

 Because no two modelers will build the same model exactly the same, this competition will allow you express your own creative abilities. There are no restrictions to style, type or materials used in building the model. It can be built to scale and prototype, or not, so it can be used on your layout after the contest. 

THE RULES

1. The structure can be built in any scale, but must adhere to the basic dimensions shown in the plan.

SER GATX 10,000 Gal. Tank Car

The Southeastern Region of the NMRA is proud to announce the availability of a limited number of Red Caboose 10,000 gal. Tank Cars lettered for GATX in HO scale. These cars come “Ready to Run” in four different road numbers never before offered by Red Caboose - GATX 28220, 28225, 28231, 28238. 

Cars have underbody brake details, magnetic knuckle & metal wheel sets. Built date is 10/49. A universal car for the transition-era and later.
